TGA SAS-B Approvals April 2019

Vericann is pleased to announce that it has been recognised and certified for its quality systems to ISO 9001:2015 by Bureau Veritas.

The scope of Vericann’s ISO accreditation is “Laboratory and product certification, and data management services for the cannabis industry”.

Managing Director of Vericann, Andrew Heath stated he was proud to have the quality systems put in place by Vericann formally recognised.

“The certification process has taken a number of months to complete, with the full range of Vericann’s processes in cannabis certification being documented, examined and verified independently. Whilst a substantial investment in and of itself, the certification lays the foundation for the quality processes in independent cannabis laboratory certification and product certification not only in Australia, but globally”.

Vericann’s adoption and use of the Isolocity Quality Management System greatly assisted with the process.  Chris Budd and the Isolocity team assisted in providing the online software which runs the QMS and also in consulting to Vericann to assist in preparation.

“Chris and his team have provided excellent service throughout the whole process and I can not recommend them more highly”, Heath said.

Whilst the Isolocity system is able to be used for ISO 9001 certification, it is also able to be adapted to ISO 17025 for laboratory analysis and assist in maintaining a range of other quality certifications such as GMP, GDP and GACP.  The flexibility of the quality management system means that it can be adapted in a large variety of ways and can be the backbone of both the reporting and quality framework for any quality focussed company.
